We liked this place very much. Food was delicious and generous and the beverage menu had a lot of good choices. I fell in love with the chilaquiles, that much that I'd go just for that. Cash is a problem when the ATMs don't work in Bacalar, but Mestizos does take credit cards, which is great. Definitely recommended

Very good food and Arturo, our server, not only provided fantastic service with lots of charm, but also gave us excellent travel tips in town. Thanks a lot! Highly recommended the fish with garlic

This place is amazing! The chile relleno was smoky and delicious, and the poc chuc torta was some of the best marinated pork I've ever had. Dessert was also delicious- the jericalla was our favorite. Great decor and service too! Eat here for dinner- you will not be disappointed.

We stopped by hoping to watch the NFL game. They went out of their way to find the game on TV. The margaritas are excellent. Both the food and customer service were amazing. Thank you for a lovely afternoon.

Arturo was our server and explained all the dishes to us in detail. I went with the Molcajete which was delicious. It comes in a bowl made out of lava which keeps the food warm for a long time. Prices are very reasonable.

We loved the tacos here. They have such a great flavour. I actually only took a photo of one of the 3 different kind of tacos we ate. I loved the al pastor tacos, they were amazing. The staff was very friendly and attentive, he even showed and led my wife to the toilet. The prices are totally ok. They have screens were they show sport events (i.e. Basketball), so if you want to watch a game or something - you know where to go.

Awesome breakfast. Best egg and chorizo in my 5 months in Mexico. Not greasy and chorizo chopped into small pieces w scramble. Comes w bean which isn’t soup. Fruit was amazing fresh w yogurt sweet and granola as a bonus. Coffee was nice and strong. Staff was attentive and food fast but it was not busy ..Over all highly recommend.
